We do not feel that children lose their sense of individuality by wearing uniforms; we feel it is quite the contrary. We believe a child actually has a sense of belonging when wearing a uniform. Rather than concentrating on what one child is wearing over another, students can focus on learning. Just as a police officer, fireman, or a number of other professionals wear uniforms when they go to their jobs, so children have a sense of focus - a purpose - when they don their uniforms and come to school. A uniform says, “It’s time to learn.” In addition, it is a bonus for parents; the battle over “what to wear” is won for them before it ever begins.
Each Monday, we gather as a school to worship and hear God's Word. Families are always invited to attend. The children give .45 each week as we take an offering for Reaching Souls International; this money is used to train others in Cuba and Africa so that they can reach their native people for the Lord. We also have special chapels throughout the year: Christmas Chapel, Fathers in February Chapel, Grandparents Chapel, and Mothers in May Chapel.
Children bring their own lunches Tuesday through Thursday. Each Monday, pre-ordered lunches of pizza or Chick fil A are delivered by our parents. Several grades of children eat together at one time in a family-like atmosphere, sometimes having lunch outside on picnic tables.
