A Christian Education

"If we don't teach our children to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to."                                                                                                                              --Unknown

What makes a Christian Education different from all others?  God's Biblical Truth.  At Shiloh Christian Academy, it is our deep desire to teach all subjects through the lens of God's Word.  It is not enough for our children to have head knowledge only but to have a transformed heart.  It is not enough for our children to absorb only what they are told but to seek and know the Truth for themselves - for one day, they WILL face the enemy and, with God's help, fight the battle before them.

Each day our children enter the classroom, we want them to see that God is the creator of ALL things, even and especially their education.  We teach our children that God is the God of mathematics because He loves order.  God is the God of science because of how the pieces He created fit together and how one piece relies on the other.  God is the God of history which began the moment of Creation - "In the beginning...".

In a Christian education, parents are seen as the primary and most significant teachers in their child's life.  At Shiloh, we create a community in which the parents, teachers, and children work together to help each child reach his/her highest potential.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'"                                           Matthew 28: 18-20

A Christian education is commissioned to fulfill this very Scripture.  When our children step outside the walls of Shiloh, they will be equipped to fulfill this Scripture as well.
